Breaking ground in 1935, a leading-edge seed producer was originally formed as Fontanelle Hybrids and was known for integrating new genetics into the seed industry. For years flourishing in the mid-western corn belt, the company made several acquisitions of other seed companies to improve and refine the base traits of its hybrid products and expand their regional reach. In 2005, the internal infrastructure was modified with the production arm of the company and its associated services being renamed as Nebraska Irrigated Seeds LLC.
With rising distribution on a national level, as well as a steady growth in international markets, Nebraska Irrigated Seeds has been able to increase production 250% since the new name in 2005. And we’ve been able to do it by cultivating and expanding the same go-hard, smart work ethic our people have had all the way back since 1935. Proudly working with 2nd and 3rd generation employees and partnering with 3rd and 4th generation growers.
